Hi! I’m Michelle and I founded The Foodie World in May 2012. My travel buddy is Barry, aka ‘gluttonous husband’, who shares my passion for great food and is our resident cook. When we’re not travelling (internationally, usually around four times a year from our base in Melbourne, Australia) I’m a writer, editor and marketer and Barry is our photographer.
I’m happy to work with brands and PR firms, so please get in touch regarding restaurant reviews, media launches, product sample reviews or any special events that would suit this blog! Just use the form on the Contact page or email me: michelle (at) thefoodieworld dot com.
The Foodie World posts on:
- Restaurant, airline and hotel reviews
- Food/wine product launches and events
- Travel tips
- Cooking tips and recipes
- Soap-box rants on food and travel-related issues.
I’m also happy to do guest blogs on topics related to food and travel. Please drop me a line!
Any third-party sponsorship, guest blogs or assistance will be disclosed within the relevant post and unless stated, all my work is funded by The Foodie World. I’ve included a few facts and figures about my blog here, but please feel free to contact us for our media kit. I’ll never share your email address with anyone and you can be certain of not being spammed.
I’m very active on social media and love to connect on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. I also post regularly on Trip Advisor and Trippy! Write me a note or tweet @thefoodieworld if you have a food or travel-related query and I’d be happy to have a chat with you.
